The Labèque Sisters return with an album entirely dedicated to the American composer Bryce Dessner, founder and guitarist of the rock band The National.
Worthy heir of American minimalist music and dubbed by Philip Glass, Steve Reich or John Adams, Bryce Dessner composed for the two sisters a concerto for two pianos recorded in partnership with France Musique with the Paris Philharmonic Orchestra of Paris in 2018. The album is completed by the piece El Chan for two pianos and Haven for two guitars and two pianos. Dedicated to the director Alejandro Gonzales Iñarittu (The Revenant, Babel ...), the cover of the album was realized by his care.
