This edited volume employs a case study approach to examine communication surrounding the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic. The text is accessible to upper-level undergraduates and graduate students, while also useful for scholars' teaching and research. The chapters are written by a diverse group of scholars and experts in a wide-array of communication contexts--from public relations and advertising to health, organizational, and political communication, and beyond. The chapters focus on the many ways professionals and laypersons employed crisis communication.
