Omschrijving

In life as in magic sometimes it takes a Catalyst to get things moving Near inseparable twin sisters, Amai and Sedai Kirstar are known, in their hometown of Tetramire, for their pranks, days spent shirking responsibilities, practicing magic, reading, and gossiping. Tumult engulfs their lives and that of all Tetramire including their widowed mother and their best friend. As the dust settles the sisters find themselves separated for the first time. Sedai enters the prestigious Mage Tower, a place of magic studies that is not the daydream she hoped for. Amai ends up at a the Monastary of Alkathin, where despite feeling lost and alone, she fights to find her conviction and more importantly her own path. Meanwhile, a dark union meets in secret under the timeless leadership of one known as The Dark Lady. Among those at her meetings is Terliet Dulsk who sits at her right hand. Terliet longs for the return of days when she had a real use for her magic power and knowledge instead of relegating herself to running an-out-of-the-way magic school filled with fools. The Dark Lady places an enticing offer before her. If she can fulfill her end the reward will be a boon greater than she ever considered would come her way.
