Anne et Patrick Poirier sont des pionniers de la création en couple, à l'instar de Gilbert et Georges.
Depuis 50 ans, leur oeuvre interroge le souvenir des civilisations dont, en « architectes-archéologues », ils ne cessent de témoigner métaphoriquement de la fragilité.
Leurs maquettes monumentales donnent au début des années 1970 un signal d'audace et de liberté qui a agrandi le territoire de l'art et ouvert de nouveaux horizons.
Cette monographie, élaborée avec la complicité des artistes, retrace leur parcours, en s'efforçant de rendre intelligible une oeuvre polymorphe, complexe et visionnaire.

freedom that opened up new artistic
