The Magic Pennies is a story that teaches children about their parents' obligations to their jobs. It teaches time keeping, days of the week, and the responsibility of a daily chore that is fun to do. It's perfect for children who have one or both parents who have to be away from home for a few nights or an extended period of time. Parents that are in the armed forces, travel a lot for work, in a rehabilitation center, and an extended hospital stay. It's also great for out-of-town grandparents between visits, an older sibling away at school or camp, and a countdown to an upcoming event such as a vacation, birthday, holiday, or party. Used nightly, it will cut down on the frequent question of "When are . . . ?" "When is my mom or my dad or my sibling coming home?" "How many more days until . . . ?" The Magic Pennies will visually answer that question for them. Inspired by a predetermined time away from my own daughter, I wrote The Magic Pennies. It's not just for her, but for all parents, grandparents, nannies, and all others that look after our precious children. I hope that this simple and helpful method of storytelling and nightly interactive learning will help with what can be a very tough time for our little ones. Thank you, and enjoy!
