Omschrijving

Zowie loves the peace of Spinneyfields and is meditating there when he meets Shadwell and Weller, two tiny men who live in a world beneath his favourite oak tree with the rest of their kind. They tend the Krakofzs who live even deeper underground and power the little folks' world with their biological by-product. Unbeknown to the locals, however, the obnoxious Archibald Smythe has bought Spinneyfields, a beautiful, unspoilt place, intending to frack it, and his chosen starting point is under the roots of the oak tree. He employs the aptly named A. Jobb to rip out the protected tree on a dark and stormy night.The Human League Council simply accepts the impending doom of their race. Shadwell and Weller do not. With the help of the tiny men and Spider (who likes to crochet and rescue kittens), can Zowie stage a big enough protest to prevent the destruction of the tree?
