Stanislaw Andriuskevicius, a disgraced member of the noble Andruszkiewicz family of Poland, forced to change the spelling of his last name from Polish to Lithuanian for his part in the Radziwill Rebellion. The Radziwill Rebellion sided with the King of Sweden's invasion against the Polish Commonwealth. Radziwill intended to become the new king of Poland. When Stanislaw, along with several others of his family's forces, were defeated in the battle of Tykocin Castle, he was the only rebel family member to survive. The loyalist family just could not kill another of their own family. So, they ordered him to be exiled from the family and the Commonwealth and ordered his name to remain Andriuskevicius rather than revert to Andruszkiewicz, as the rest of the family from Lithuania did. This 'Order of Exile' was posted in every church and cathedral in the Commonwealth. Everyone learned of his betrayal.
