Reissued 1980 album, the Jersey City guitar virtuoso **Al Di Meola** delivered with *‘Splendido Hotel’* his fourth solo studio album after the disbanding of *Return To Forever* around 1976. **Al Di Meola** self-produced this album with a lot of guests such as the legendary **Les Paul** on *Bert Kaempferts’ ‘Spanish Eyes’,* **Anthony Jackson, Chick Corea, Jan Hammer, Steve Gadd** and **Eddie Colon**. On this album **Meola** continues to explore Latin music within Jazz Fusion, this time a little more acoustic than electric.
