Geneviève Fontan a réalisé une étude bibliographique portant sur les sacs Hermès à deux poignées et donne pour chacun d'eux le nom et la date ou la période d'édition. Elle a identifié environ trois cents modèles différents depuis 1923 jusqu'à nos jours, photographiés dans ce livre. Cet ouvrage vient compléter la Collection Luxe et Vintage des titres édités par Arfon Maison d'Edition. Il s'adresse à un large public, avec en particulier les commissaires-priseurs, les experts en mode vintage, les antiquaires de la mode, ou encore les admirateurs des créations d'Hermès Paris.
