En Bretagne, les noms des lieux-dits donnent des indications précieuses aux habitants et aux voyageurs égarés. D'un seul coup d'oeil, le panneau de bord de route nous renseigne sur le nom du propriétaire, sur les caractéristiques du terrain, sur les animaux qui s'y trouvent ou sur l'environnement.
