Ouverte aux Parisiens en 1929, la piscine Molitor construite par l'architecte Lucien Pollet a connu bien des situations : lieu de présentation des premiers bikinis en 1946, elle se fait centre artistique imprévu et clandestin après sa fermeture avant d'être réhabilitée aujourd'hui par Colony Capital. The Piscine Molitor opened to Parisians in 1929. Built by architect Lucien Pollet, it saw many eventful situations : it was here that the first bikinis were presented in 1946, then, quite out of the blue, it became a clandestine art centre after it closed down and before it was rehabilitated, today, by Colony Capital, Accor and Bouygues, with architects Alain Derbesse, Jacques Rougerie and Alain-Charles Perrot.
