A Strange Kind of Madness is a Romantic Comedy. As a woman of fifty plus life was so simple. Her days revolved around cleaning the house, tartan slippers and an urge to make Gypsy tart. Then came the new neighbours; Barbara with a pedigree cat and a voice to match and Fred with a roving eye. Suddenly life becomes complicated, as with good intentions Lucy tries to save Fred from the amorous advances of the local siren, only to fall into his clutches... and his bed. Up until the neighbours arrival, Lucy had only encountered minor mishaps, most of which were of her own doing. But her luck was about to run out, when Lucy was first suspected of cat napping, and also accused of wanton vandalism. It didn't end there, as she was arrested for stealing rubbish. Then, after accidentally setting fire to her house, she finds herself being held hostage. Thank goodness that the neighbours didn't know about the body, or things could have really got difficult.
