The Germans supply him with invisible ink, three thousand dollars and codes. Juan goes to Lisbon, buys a Baedaker Tourist Guide to Great Britain, the Bradshaw Railway Timetable and a large map of the country. With these he starts imagining an England. I did the same for America.
