Resonance and Silence is the third volume in the series produced together by the Goetz Collection and the Haus der Kunst in Munich. Inside its former air raid bunker, the Goetz Collection presents selected international works on video. The thematic focus of this catalogue consists of the dimension, role, and function of resonance, music, sound, and background music in the context of moving pictures. The volume features forewords by Okwui Enwezor and Ingvild Goetz, an essay by curator León Krempel, and brief descriptions of the works by artists such as Yael Bartana, Christoph Brech, David Claerbout, Christian Marclay, and Wolfgang Tilmans.
