A whirl of people with Ménière's disease spun out of control and created this low-sodium cookbook, taking revenge on the 'Dizzy Terror'. They collected low-sodium recipes from people with lived experience with Ménière's, so the Ménière's monster is starved of the sodium in our food!
The 88 recipes and 244 food suggestions are tried and true by people living with vertigo, tinnitus, and hearing loss. Besides recipes, inside you'll find information about sodium,
foods that fight inflammation, salt free seasonings, marinades and rubs for the art of flavour, a 4 week meal plan, your own meal planner, and pages to add your own recipes and notes.
Dedicated to those who have Ménière's disease, in response to the many who ask, 'Does anyone have any good recipes with low sodium?'
While there are hundreds of thousands of low-sodium recipes that have been published, the following recipes are tried and true by people with Ménière's, passed down through families, created, written from memories, and stumbled upon in the chaos of cooking. Thank you to the many dizzy cooks, named and unnamed, who have shared their favourite Ménière's foods and recipes, so we can help each other and raise money to donate to Ménière's research.
Profits from sales will be donated to Ménière's research to help find a cure, or treatments that will lead to a return to a high quality of lived life.
