Weed science discipline in Pakistan is at lower academic level as compared to allied disciplines of Plant pathology and plant protection. The literature related to weed science is not available regularly to the scientists in Pakistan. Access to journals commonly published in developed countries is very limited which makes the research spectrum narrow.
