Omschrijving

Océan Arctique, dans un futur proche. Isobel embarque pour une mission d’exploration pétrolière. Alors que des éco-activistes s’opposent à ces forages, elle et son équipe cartographient les fonds marins. Mais bientôt, l’impensable se produit : un phénomène inconnu secoue leur navire et met brutalement fi n à leur expédition. Vingt ans plus tard, le monde a basculé. La montée des eaux a transformé l’Écosse en terre d’asile pour les populations déplacées. Isobel tente de survivre quand son ancien coéquipier la met en relation avec un mystérieux centre de recherche. Là-bas, des scientifiques semblent fascinés par ce qu’elle a vécu en Arctique… et par une étrange découverte qui pourrait remettre en question la nature même du temps.
