Omschrijving

On her strange quest in the alternate world of Albion Magna, Lyn and writer Marjory Langland are captured by a reactionary mob of sexual zealots called the Restorers, who want to destroy all golems and punish those who use them. They condemn the women to "corrective" punishment. Their only choice is to perform an act of contrition involving rough sex and humiliation.

Meanwhile, Pippa's mission goes disastrously wrong, and she and her devoted thralmaid lover Olwen must endure the rigours of serving in a thralmaid hunting lodge. They are turned into living fountains, serve as "bare"-skin rugs, wall-mounted trophies and sex toys. They are used for target practice in a shooting range and are then sent into a hunting ground where they are the prey.

To retrieve the final part of the code, Pippa and Lyn are put through a grim ordeal in a cathedral of corrective discipline. Here they endure numerous torments at the hands of both priests and the congregation, involving big candles, running a gauntlet of shame, the Wheels of Penitence, and public display as living stained glass windows.

Events reach a climax when rival mages Wolff and Durand finally meet and engage in a dramatic magical duel of raw elemental power. If Wolff wins, will he honour his promise to free Lyn and Pippa and return them home, or will he keep them in captivity? If Durand wins, will he turn all thralmaids into perfect submissives? Lyn and Pippa can only look on helplessly as their fate is decided by powers beyond their comprehension...
