A truth-free book about a truth-free life. Not-a-biography, but maybe that's a lie too.
Once upon a time something might have happened, but whatever it was isn't likely to show up in this. After all, who wants the truth when delicious lies lay better on a page? An unreliable narrator is so much more fun. A psychopathological unreliable narrator is even better, because you get all the best of the worst: lies, laziness, lust and lamentable lore. Throw in a dash of madness, some liberal doses of self-destruction, and a vast void of conscience and...well, maybe something worthwhile might happen after all. Maybe. Not likely.
