What is happening to our world?
With heat domes, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, windstorms, flooding, avalanches, ice storms, and more, we feel the wrath of the natural world. This is the story of how and why . . .
The Tale of Indigo
Indigo and Sienna create the world and all its flora and fauna. Yet, they want to do more. They create humans, and endow them with the greatest gifts. But out of greed, humans take more than they need, poisoning and polluting the paradise Indigo and Sienna have created. In truly mythic manner, Indigo and Sienna exact appropriate punishment on humans. The outcome is massive—what we see now across the globe is only a taste of what is to come.
Is it too late for humanity to change the path we are on? Or is annihilation our future?
The Tale of Indigo is a 1,000-word creation poem about humanity and climate change that posits a vision that is both dark and damning. Tempering the tone, the e-book version of The Tale of Indigo features paintings by Barbara Paleczny. The print version is text only.
This volume is supplemented by The Quid Es, an additional fourteen poems from a poet who has been on the sidelines, living, observing, and writing. This is Tim's debut book of poetry.
"The Tale of Indigo is a tiny part of the discourse around climate change," he commented. "I encourage everyone, out of dire necessity, to participate in actions to stop climate change."
