ABOUT THE AUTHOR

George Robert Stow Mead (1863-1933) was a British writer, translator, and scholar known for his work on Gnosticism, Hermetism, and mystical literature. A disciple and secretary of H. P. Blavatsky, he was a key figure in the Theosophical Society and one of the most influential scholars of Gnostic and esoteric texts in the 20th century. His work seeks to revive the spiritual teachings of the ancient world with depth and clarity.
