Matt is pining for Kateryna but is back at Special Branch training new officers in psychological interrogations. For the last six months Matt has been pushed by Special Branch into doing Mixed Martial Arts training, his chief was worried he gets himself into to many dangerous situations where he is not equipped. All this will come handy down the line. Matt receives an award for his criminal psychological work, but just as he is about to be presented he is called away - his chief tells him he is going to give evidence in court in one of his past cases. His evidence is vital to put away a dangerous spy. Matt finds himself in a protected hotel with four Special Branch guards, a CIA liaison and MI6 agent. Keeping Matt safe until the closed trial is imperative. However in the night Matt awakes to shots fired, as he enters the main room, the special branch officers are dead, the CIA and MI6 man are fighting each other on the floor, Matt makes for the balcony - its jump or die time - ten floors up - only a swimming pool below. Matt Murray is on the run!
