On the run from both Nori and J-BIG, she meets Bill, a young corporate attorney recently made redundant, who plans to revisit his past in the hope he can heal old wounds and reshape his future. Although from two very different worlds, they find themselves falling for each other, both unaware of the extreme measures Nori will take to get Yayoi to return to Japan with him.

The Girl With Two Names is set in urban Japan and the raw backwoods of New Zealand.

NB : the book, as stated above, is a psychological thriller. You are being purposefully placed in the head of a heroine with strong personality flaws that do have severe outcomes for those who allow her into their lives. This is an important aspect of the story.
