Omschrijving

A year has passed since an engineered super virus was released, wiping out the majority of the world's population. Those left behind know they are not yet in the clear. The spread of the virus has slowed, but danger still looms around every corner. Survivors have settled into their new lives with the understanding that people are even more deadly than the virus.

Henry and Tess find themselves traveling with more family than either has ever had. When several members of their group go missing, they realize that the only way to get them back is to take on the very same society that abducted and tried to kill survivors in New Mexico a year before. It's an impossible mission until an unwelcome blast from the past offers to help.

For Prophet, the biggest threat is to her sense of self. The world was only beginning to accept people like her when society collapsed.
