With only one month to show her bosses she has what it takes to make her food truck thrive, Arie dives into the late summer season and sprinkles the boardwalk with delicious ice cream. An added bonus is Leo Cusano, the sexy handyman who installed her air conditioner and makes her donuts.

When Leo is asked to support the Swing Out of Summer event—Beachside's mini golf extravaganza and baking competition—Leo and Arie join forces to battle the competitive Cusano brothers for putt-putt bragging rights while creating a showstopping dessert à la mode. But when Arie's bosses find out she churned her ice cream with Leo's sweet treats without their permission, her summer romance with the donut guy feels the heat.
