Contents include: "The Preface, Scope, Contents, Derivation, Value, and Preciousness of the Apocalypse", "The Apostolic Introduction to the Apocalypse, and its Several Important Allusions", "The First Vision-A Picture of the Saviour in His relation to the Churches", "Supplementary Declarations, Touching the Character and Prerogatives of Christ", "The Seven Churches-Meaning of Numbers-The Seven Ages of the Church", etc. Joseph Augustus Seiss (March 18, 1823 - June 20, 1904) was an American theologian and Lutheran minister most famous for his contributions to pyramidology and dispensationalism. His best-known work is "The Great Pyramid of Egypt, Miracle in Stone: Secrets and Advanced Knowledge" (1877), considered a primary text of pyramidology.
