El dolor crónico es una epidemia. Millones de personas luchan contra los males de espalda, los dolores de cabeza o algún otro dolor que se resiste a cualquier tipo de tratamiento, y a la mayoría se les repite que no existe cura para sus dolencias. El psicoterapeuta Alan Gordon padecía uno de esos dolores crónicos. Acudió a numerosos médicos y recibió diferentes diagnósticos, pero ninguno de los tratamientos le ayudó. Frustrado por los abordajes convencionales, desarrolló la terapia de reprocesamiento del dolor (TRD), un protocolo mente-cuerpo que no solo le permitió eliminar su propio dolor crónico, sino que ha transformado la vida de miles de sus pacientes.
