Omschrijving

Nathan is a twelve year old boy with Down syndrome. His mother, Janelle is very protective. She calls him her hero. When Janelle witnesses a drug deal she becomes a target. Nathan and Janelle are attacked, but Kersey, a man who hires out as a problem solver steps in to save them. With Janelle unconscious, he stages the scene to make it appear that Nathan was the hero. His plan backfires though, as Nathan believes he is a real life superhero and goes around trying to save whoever he can. His efforts place him in constant danger forcing Kersey to keep him safe.

But when a mobster who is hunting Kersey kidnaps Nathan, he must track them down before Nathan gets hurt, knowing he will have to exchange himself for the boy.
