In the present scenario, solubility is of major concern due to insoluble nature of most of the effective drugs. Low solubility in turn affects the dissolution rate, which reduces the absorption and eventually the bioavailability of highly useful drugs. So, solubility enhancement is an appropriate approach to overwhelm this drawback. This book will provide a detail method to enhance the solubility using different water soluble polymers and methods. A comparative study has been made to determine the effect of using natural and synthetic polymers. Also, the methods have been compared to determine its effect on dissolution of drug. Apart from this, best formulation has been optimized using design expert software, the usage of which can minimize the intricate process of development of large number of formulations.
