Frankie Valenti is tired of being written off as a joke. When she signed on to her family's reality show, the promise of running Valenti Brothers Construction had made the extra work worthwhile. Except she found herself cast as the comic relief, and now no one believes she can take this seriously. She's making her own show now to prove herself, and there's $100K riding on her success. Good work, on time, under budget. Piece of cake, as long as everything goes according to her plan.
Jake Ryland is under strict orders to make these reality shows a success if he wants to move on to bigger and better things. He does what it takes, pulling all the strings, manipulating the game. He's never worried much about the consequences, until now. There's something about Frankie that makes him second-guess himself. This show is his ticket back to fame, so why does it all feel empty when his plans fall into place?
They say that love can build a bridge, but will ambition burn that bridge behind them?
