India is one of the top producers of yarns and fabrics in the world. Textile industry is an independent and self-reliant industry with great versatility and diversification. Textile is an important entity of human livehood and there is tremdous growth in term of production and research in the last a few decades. Enormous literature have been produced in filed of textile but these lituerature is scarred, it is, therefore, there is an urgent need to conduct biliomatric study of these litureature to know different aspect of textiles research in global era. This present study deals with bibliomatric study of 1336 artciles published during 2000 to 2015 in two renowed Journals of Journals of Textile Association and Journal of the Textile Insititute in SCOPUS database has been used to extract data on textile.
