Parks are vital element in our city environment. In urban areas different types of parks perform different roles for city dwellers daily and weekend activities.Dhaka the capital of Bangladesh, a city more than four hundred years old has long been praised by visitors for its greenery and wetlands. Parks perform various positive functions to improve the quality in urban living. For this reason parks in Dhaka city has been selected as study area in this research. This study area has been divided into two parts. In one part parks were selected according to their size and in nature such as Anwara Uddyan as the neighborhood level park and Suhrawardi Uddyan as the City level Park and other part this two parks have been selected for user survey. The main purpose of this study has been to draw up the park facilities of Dhaka City and how this facility is to contribute to increase the efficiency of parks. Besides this from the perspective of the users the existing problems and their opinions about the parks is also examined. This study also shows the standards of the park or open space in our country and comparison with other countries. There is also no uniformity standard throughout the who
