Un parcours évocateur à la découverte de l'un des plus grands et plus habiles Maîtres du Dessin contemporain qui, tout en étant solidement lié à l'actualité, renoue avec la tradition de l'École de la Renaissance italienne, sous l'influence de Léonard de Vinci et du Corrège, tant du point de vue technique que symbolique. Une poétique évocatrice qui n'a de cesse de nous accompagner jusqu'à la ligne de démarcation entre le Mythe et la Réalité, en nous montrant tantôt les Dents de sainte Apollonia qui, aussi menaçantes que fascinantes, se transforment en constellations englouties par le noir du graphite, tantôt des anatomies corporelles qui dévoilent, derrière leur vision crue, leurs références symboliques, en nous laissant finalement rencontrer, à travers des traits de stylo bille qui courent de façon fluide, les souvenirs d'une mystérieuse nuit colombienne, ou bien encore des dessins siamois et des taches d'encre qui scellent la rencontre heureuse entre la pureté du papier de soie et le flou d'origine classique. An inspiring journey that lasts as long as a dream and takes us down an intriguing path to discover one of the finest and most virtuoso Masters of Contemporary Drawing, whose technique and symbolism, whilst firmly bound to the present, reconnects to the tradition of the Italian Renaissance School of Leonardesque and Correggesque origins. An evocative poetics that accompanies us all the way to the boundary between myth and reality, showing us the threatenîng yet fascinating Denti di Sant'Apollonia (« Teeth of Saint Apollonia ») turning into constellations swallowed up by the darkness of the graphite, or corporal anatomies that unveil their symbolic references behind a crude appearance. Finally, he brings us into contact with recollections of a mysterious Colombian night through the flowing lines of a ball-point pen, or Siamese images and ink spots that seal the happy encounter between the pureness of the silk paper and the sfumato of classic origins. Un viaggio lungo quanto un sogno. Un suggestivo percorso alla scoperta di uno dei più grandi e virtuosi Maestri del Disegno contemporaneo che legandosi saldamente all'attualità si riallaccia per tecnica e simbologia alla tradizione della Scuola del Rinascimento Italiano, di matrice leonardesca e correggesca. Una poetica evocativa che ci accompagna nel tragitto fino alla linea di confine tra il Mito e la Realtà, mostrandoci ora i minacciosi quanto affascinanti Denti di Sant'Apollonia che si trasformano in costellazioni inghiottite dal buio della grafite, ora anatomie corporee che svelano dietro alla visione cruda i loro riferimenti simbolici, lasciandoci infine incontrare attraverso tratti di penna a sfera che scorrono fluidi i ricordi di una misteriosa notte colombiana, o ancora disegni siamesi e macchie d'inchiostro che suggellano il felice incontro tra la purezza della carta seta e lo sfumato di derivazione classica.
