After years of consulting for the Wellness Enterprise of Exceptional Dispensaries (W.E.E.D.), it's high time Vanessa Sorella got her chance as the company's first woman to be CEO. Former CEO Joe Caldarelli's body barely had time to cool before she stepped in, ready to change everything; even if she knows nothing about running a cannabis company. Vanessa's unhelpful entourage is a good-old-boys club comprised of obstinate executives. Two of Joe's sons, Tony and Collin, are on the executive team. Whether they are there to help her or sabotage her is TBD. As for what a CEO is supposed to do: she doesn't know where to begin. It would be a lot easier if her stubborn assistant, Tiffany, bothered to show up. It's impossible to find good help these days. Vanessa is left on her own to lead perpetual meetings, skirt around scandal, plan for the biggest cannabis holiday of the year, and try not to blow up the few personal relationships she has. Vanessa will need to do everything in her power to keep this greenhouse of cards from collapsing around her. And, most importantly, to stay on top.
