The catchy pop song "Lemon Tree" was a global hit for the German band Fools Garden in the mid-90s. For singer and songwriter Peter Freudenthaler, born in 1963, the song opened the door to the international music world and a career that he could never have dreamed of. In his autobiography, he takes us on this journey with him: From his sheltered childhood and youth in Pforzheim and his beginnings in a school band to the origins of "Lemon Tree", from his sudden success as a pop star and chart-topper and life on tour to current songs. Fools Garden have received countless gold and platinum awards as well as music prizes all over the world. To this day, Peter Freudenthaler successfully performs on stage with Fools Garden and in other musical projects and writes his own songs.
