Saccharum is a complex genus characterized by high ploidy levels and composed of at least six distinct species S. officinarum, S. barberi, S. sinensis, S. spontanum, S. robustum and S. edule. Micro propagation is a technique to produce disease free plants. The aim of the present study was to investigate the response of three sugarcane accessions for callogenesis and organogenesis.
