It focuses on the transformative journey of newcomers and refugees who, through InstroomArt, translate their personal memories and heritage into unique culinary and artistic expressions.

The publication centers on the collaboration between renowned Belgian artist Nico Dockx and chef Sandip Patel, a political refugee from Gujarat, India. Documenting their welcoming space at PLUS-ONE Projects during the 2025 Antwerp Art Weekend, the book highlights how migration is not an exception but a fundamental, creative norm. Featuring a blend of photography, stencil work by Dockx, and the stories behind Patel’s “Royal Panipuri,” the book serves as an ode to origin and a manifesto for a more inclusive, sustainable future.
