Melt by donalee Moulton, is the perfect lake cabin or sunny beach read for vacation. It is a well written, fast paced crime novel set in Nova Scotia Canada. Detectives, judges, billionaires, crime bosses, and local business owners get tangled up in a young man's unfortunate run in with the law.

People and situations aren't always what they seem on the surface, so the author spends a good deal of time letting the reader see inside the minds of the characters – most amusingly, Madoff the dog. In the end all mysteries are solved ,and we are left with an intriguing teaser that foreshadows a future novel in this delightful series.
