Maurizio Nannucci c'est l'un des artistes expérimentaux les plus inventifs des dernières décennies. Depuis le milieu des années 1960, il se consacre à l'exploration des corrélations variées entre le langage, l'écriture et les images visuelles, en s'appuyant sur des concepts et des idées linguistiques et en se servant d'un large éventait de médiums, comme le néon, depuis 1967, la photographie, la vidéo, les livres d'artiste, les éditions et les installations sonores. À la recherche de réponses artistiques pour un monde en perpétuel changement, il a développé une approche interdisciplinaire des pratiques de l'art qui a ouvert la voie à un réseau de coopérations entre les domaines de l'art, de l'architecture et de la poésie.

Maurizio Nannucci belongs to the most inventively experimentat artists of the last decades. Since the mid-sixties Nannucci devotes himself to exploring the multifaceted interrelations between language, writing and visual images, drawing on concepts and linguistic ideas and employing a wide variety of media, including neon, since 1967, photography, video, artist's books, editions, sound installations. On the search of artistic answers to a world in continuous change, he has developed an interdisciplinary approach of art practices which opened up a network of cooperations in the fields of art, architecture, poetry.

Maurizio Nannucci ist einer der originellsten experimentellen Künstler der tetzten Jahrzehnte. Seit Mitte der sechziger Jahre befasst er sich mit der Erforschung der vielschichtigen Wechselbeziehungen zwischen Sprache, Schrift und visuellen Bildern. Dabei greift er auf linguistische Konzepte und Begriffe zurück und wendet eine breite Palette von Medien wie Neon, seit 1967, Fotografie, Video, Künstlerbuch, Edition und Klanginstallationen an. Mit seiner Kunst ist er auf der Suche nach einer Antwort auf die sich standig verandernde welt und hat dazu in den Kunsttechniken einen interdisziplinaren Ansatz entwickelt, aus dem ein kooperationsnetzwerk in den Bereichen Kunst, Architektur, Dichtung entstand.
