Thiriel has been left with the ambition pushed onto his shoulders by an unrelenting father, reminding him these realms need a Hamewinter at the held and it's his duty to make sure that happens. He knows what's needed to make his father's plans a reality, but when he realizes it's unlikely he can collect the items himself, he decides it's time to find someone else to collect the most vital magic he needs.

Bazran was born in the shadows. Knos is a Reaper who reports to Death himself. They're the only ones capable of acquiring what he needs.

This novella follows Thiriel Hamewinter as he moves through the realms leaving a trail of havoc and destruction in his wake. He was told sacrifices needed to be made to set these realms to right, and he is going to make sure every being in the realm makes them.

This is a prequel to Hidden In Darkness and should be read before the second book. It is bonus scenes, so although this book doesn't need to be read to follow the plot moving from book one to book two, it will be full of scenes riddled with easter eggs that made the reading experience a little more fun.
