Sure, moonlighting can go either way. I can kill myself to gain back what I lost from my last failed relationship, or I can sink to the depths of financial crisis like all the rest of us during Christmas. But I love what I do and helping this family turns out to be something worth far more than my hourly wage. Luke pays me an insane amount of money to look after his house and his children, but I'm learning that it's Luke that also needs something. No, not that! Well, maybe…but I can't deny that he's the most caring, hard working, honest man I've ever met. And his eyes say it all. This man has hurt more than most, just like me, and as I pray that I can perform a Christmas miracle, just days before the big day, it soon becomes clear what I was put on this earth for.
