Li Wanting, an ordinary city girl, suddenly finds herself able to see visions invisible to ordinary people. As the visions become more frequent, she realizes that these are not hallucinations, but the beginning of some unsolved mystery. During her journey of exploration, Wanting meets the writer Zhou Zeyu, and together they embark on a journey to uncover lost memories and mysterious events.
They discovered that the city was not only bound by some ancient rituals, but also that time and memory had been artificially distorted. And Wanting herself seemed to be closely related to the history of the city. Her existence was erased from memory, becoming the key to this profound change.

In the process of challenging fate, Wanting and Zhou Zeyu broke the city's time cage and restored people's memories and the truth of history. However, the price of all this is that Wanting eventually disappeared in the cracks of history and became a memory that cannot be recovered, leaving Zhou Zeyu with only eternal regret and unrealized love.
