What does it mean to be simply a baptised person? In today's 'post-Christendom' society baptism can appear, even to Christians, as something of an empty commonplace. There is, none the less, in Scripture, the theological tradition, and the lived wisdom of Christian people, a rich, enlivening something to be said about baptism.
