Jack Fogarty was born of Irish parentage in Liverpool, England. His family immigrated to New York City in 1927. These are some remembrances of events leading up to this move and the path he has traveled over the ensuing decades his ma and daddy, brothers and sisters his childhood...his World War II service in U S Army... his acting aspirations loving accounts of friendships including soap opera Guiding Light''s cherished Charita Bauer; beautiful songbird of the silver screen? Jeanette MacDonald; renowned British actor, Richard Todd.......................................... together with fellow actors Ralph Waite of the Waltons and Barnard Hughes. He relates the important part his Faith and the Archdiocese of New York, clergy and religious, have played in his life. Drawing, oil and watercolor painting came naturally to Jack all his life and his work has received awards and are featured at numerous exhibits. It is Jack''s hope that his story finds favor with his family and friends and brings an occasional chuckle to all.
