« Engagé auprès de personnes malades, de ceux (proches, bénévoles ou soignants) qui ne délaissent ni ne négligent les quelques devoirs d'une hospitalité incertaine, surprenante, énigmatique là où la rencontre et la sollicitude parviennent à un tel degré d'intensité, je témoigne d'actes d'humanité qui interpellent nos valeurs et les amplifient. Depuis des années, dans la discrétion d'une connivence qui m'implique jusqu'aux limites du soin, confronté aux excès de la maladie, à ses outrages, aux misères et tragédies d'une déportation hors de l'existence, je m'efforce de saisir des moments soudains ou subreptices de vérités, des fulgurances, des appels, des confidences partagées dans le huis clos de lieux désertés.
