Les parois inscrites des appartements funéraires de la pyramide de Pépy I^er, troisième pharaon de la VI^e dynastie (c. 2330-2280), livrent le plus vaste ensemble de Textes des Pyramides actuellement connu. Fondée sur la publication de ces textes en fac-similés (MIFAO 118/1-2), dont une 2^e édition est parue en 2010, la présente traduction intègre les compléments fournis notamment par la pyramide de Mérenrê et celle de la reine Ânkhesenpépy II, découverte en 2000 par la Mission archéologique franco-suisse de Saqqâra (MafS).

La traduction de près de 800 formules, dont 81 formules « nouvelles » (TP 1001-1081), est précédée d'une présentation générale de l'ensemble du corpus.

The inscribed walls of the inner chambers and corridors of Pepy I^st's pyramid, the third Pharaoh of the Vl^th Dynasty (c. 2330-2280), offer the largest set of Pyramid Texts known. Based on the previous publication of these texts in facsimiles (MIFAO 118/1-2), a 2nd edition of which came out in 2010., the present translation includes additional material, especially from Merenre's and queen Ankhesenpepy II's pyramids, the last one discovered in 2000 by the French-Swiss archaeological Mission of Saqqâra (MafS).

The translation of about 800 spells, including 81 « new » ones (PT 1001-1081), is preceded by a general presentation of the whole corpus.
