Les systèmes de mobilité de la préhistoire au moyen âge

Se déplacer, transporter, échanger... Ces comportements, leur place et leur organisation ont toujours été et, à l'heure de la mondialisation, sont peut-être encore plus que jamais au coeur du fonctionnement des systèmes socio-économiques. La mobilité constitue ainsi une perspective de recherche centrale en anthropologie. Le terme « mobilité » englobe des comportements très variés aux échelles spatio-temporelles multiples. Les articles présentés dans cet ouvrage sont ainsi organisés autour de thématiques portant sur la longue durée et rendant compte de ces différentes échelles de la mobilité : I) grandes dynamiques de
peuplement, 2) organisation des territoires ou encore 3) transferts et interculturalité. De quels éléments disposons-nous pour aborder les systèmes de mobilité à leurs différentes échelles ? Les approches sont-elles également différentes selon la période concernée ? C'est essentiellement autour de ces vastes questions et de cette diversité chronologique, disciplinaire ou méthodologique que s'organise cet ouvrage.

Moving, transporting, exchanging... These behaviors, their place and their organization have always been and, at a time of globalization, are maybe more than ever at the center of socioeconomic systems. Mobility represents therefore a central perspective in Anthropology. The term « mobility » includes highly diversified behaviors at multiple spatial and temporal scales. Papers presented in this book are organized around themes dealing with a long term perspective and expressing these various scales of mobility: I) major settlement dynamics, 2) organization of territories or 3) transfers and interculturality. What are the available elements to apprehend mobility systems at their différent scales ? Are these approaches also different according to the period studied ? This collective work is essentially organized around these broad topics and this chronological, disciplinary and methodological diversity.
