English summary: One of the most intriguing aspects of Scandinavian genius as a whole is the amazing storytelling skills of the Swedes, Danes, Norwegians and Icelanders - not that they are any less talented in other literary genres (far from it). Yet Andersen's emulators - such as Denmark's Karen Blixen, Sweden's Selma Lagerlof and Iceland's Halldor Laxness - are innumerable and all have magnetic storytelling voices that never tire readers. Many reasons for that are offered here, most of them based upon very well-known Icelandic sagas. All of these literatures have produced a praiseworthy and prolific production of folk tales and legends. This work offers a presentation and analysis of this art of telling tales which authentically reflects realia - this manifestation of daily life among peoples about whom the rest of the world still knows very little.
