« Là on est le Fils, les cieux sont ouverts. » Ouvrir nos coeurs dans la louange et l'adoration, c'est la chose la plus précieuse que nous pouvons donner à Dieu. « Élevez-vous au-dessus des choses de ce siècle et regardez les choses comme Dieu les regarde. » Regarder d'en haut par la foi, par l'espérance, par la gratitude et la louange, pour penser comme Dieu, pour regarder comment Dieu voit notre vie, notre histoire, nos richesses, nos pauvretés, nos familles... Ce que nous goûtons dans la Gloire, ce n'est pas tant la puissance du Saint-Esprit, c'est Dieu lui-même. La Gloire, c'est sa Présence, le rayonnement de Dieu. « L'heure vient et c'est maintenant où les véritables adorateurs adoreront le Père en esprit et en vérité car tels sont les adorateurs que cherche le Père » (Jean 4, 23). Le royaume de Dieu est déjà parmi nous, le climat du Ciel est déjà sur la terre. Le Seigneur vient : nous sommes aujourd'hui plus près qu'il y a deux mille ans de son retour en Gloire. Tel est le message de ce livre écrit à deux voix par une femme pasteur pentecôtiste américaine, Deborah Kendrick, et un frère dominicain français, Rémi Schappacher. Leur ministère commun et leur amitié nous font du bien, à nous et au corps de l'Église tout entière.

(John 4, 23). The Kingdom of God is already with us. The Lord is coming: we are now 2000 years nearer his return in Glory. This is the message of Le Ciel a visité la terre, co-authored by Deborah Kendrick, an American Pentecostal pastor, and a Dominican brother, Rémi Schappacher. Their common ministry and their friendship bring joy to readers and to all of the Church.
