The books La Pedrera Sostres and La Pedrera Forja --entrusted, respectively, to the architects Galdric Santana and David Ferrer-- reveal to us unknown aspects of Casa Milà, and explained with photos by Pere Vivas that have never been taken before, many of which are spaces not accessible to the public. In La Pedrera Sostres we are amazed by the level ceilings of the rooms on escaping from the horizontal plane to which they belong, as well as the new modelling of its ornamentation and which had not been seen until then. La Pedrera Forja provides an appraisal of the building's wrought ironwork --demonstrating the level of virtuosity, incomparable in Europe, that had reached Catalan wrought ironwork in the early 20th century-- and which constitutes in itself one of the most relevant sculptural series of contemporary art.
